Hello Subscribers,

Edward Shanahan here and I would like to
welcome all the new subscribers to the
monthly newsletter of Paranormal and Psychic
information, dates and upcoming locations.

I would like to Thank 'Everyone' who has in
one way or another participated in what we
have tried to provide you over the last year.

There are still a couple public readings left
in 2009, and the Internet radio show with what
is coming up, are real interesting. Remember
the 'Not on Sunday Night' broadcasts are only
a 1/2 hour long and seem to be enjoyed by those
who listen to them, you can download all as a
podcast also and many are doing so.

Annette and I are more laid back on these broadcasts,
as I look at them as being fun and usually we have
someone calling in for a few minutes on these nights.

experience.

Also Annette who has over 20 years
of Tarot Reading, Runes and Past Lives
Readings experience, also does readings in
N.W. Indiana and has been doing house and
public readings for years. She is also a High
Priestess for over 20 years, something most
Readers in N.W. Indiana of Chicago area can
claim to be.

Spirits of Holidays and Christmas Past

Spirits of Holidays and Christmas Past

One will always miss the loved ones of theirs who have passed away. The holidays can be emotional, as for some it is a time that many families gather together and yet there is that emotional feeling of the loved ones who have passed away not being there.

During the readings I do, along with my discussions that have to do with the Spiritual World, I talk about the Spirit of the loved ones who have passed away and the Spirit also missing not being involved or partaking in the family gatherings that at one time they did participate in.

Just because the love one is no longer in the living world, that does not mean their love for their living loved ones and family gatherings are gone. Usually it is stronger as the Spirit cannot be here in the living and are missing those still in the living world.

What I suggest to those who miss their love one who has passed away, is something that would be for both the Spirit and the living. First, I ask the person if they still have a photo of their loved one. Majority of the time the answer is yes, and usually the person says that they have a photo hanging up in their house.

It is great that the person has a photo of the loved one who passed away in their house. However, like the family gatherings and holidays, something a little special could be done, something that will show the Spirit of the loved one that they are still part of the holidays and family gatherings as in the past.

I suggest that the person takes the photo of their love one into the main room that the family gathers in during the holiday. Some individuals tell me that they have a photo of their love one already in that room. If that is the case, I tell them that is fine, but to take the photo and move it to another area in the room.

When the person either brings a photo into the room of the family gathering or moves the photo to another area in the room, it actually is a way of focusing on the loved one who passed away and this is a way of connecting to the Spirit.

It also is a way for the Spirit to know that they are still part of the holiday family gatherings. The Spirit of holidays past is still part of the present and the love is shown to the Spirit and in return, felt by the living.

Few roads in the world rival the super-haunted reputation of Chicago's Archer Avenue, home to some of the city's most legendary ghost stories, including the most famous Vanishing Hitchhiker on earth, Resurrection Mary. This road was constructed by poor Irish immigrants --builders of the controversial and ill-funded Illinois & Michigan Canal-- who laid down the road over an ancient Indian trail known for its spiritual powers. The slavelike conditions of their labor, their deaths from hunger, thirst, disease and violence: all live on in the deep folklore of this storied region.

Join her for a very special trip down this fabled road, when you will travel from its beginnings in haunted Chinatown to its darkest burial ground: the mournful churchyard of St. James at Sag Bridge. Seance during and after - Still hanging on.....

I still can't shake what came to me (visualized), toward the end of the Seance I held last night at the Joliet haunted Scutt Mansion. Hit me hard when I realized it. But that's what can happen.

Imagine, knowing that 'what ever' is right near you and the table, but is no taller then the table, actually lower then the table and are looking up at you. And others who are sitting at the table feel them looking at them also, and things are like crossing by your face while, like going by on the table. Then it hits you (me) you actually visualized, it's little infants who have passed away that are surrounding you or around the table in the Doll Room, wondering what your doing, as they don't understand, and there right next to you, looking up at you, like innocent little infants who just learned to stand on their feet.

Hit me hard when I finally realized what it / they where. I had to close the Seance shortly after that.

Lately it's been children coming to me (Senator Humphrey House and now the mansion). I will shake it, as it's just one of those things you learn to know can happen when you .....

The Seances with Edward Shanahan in Chicago area

Hello Readers,

Well I'm now deep in to doing the Seances at the Haunted Historic Locations.

They have been going very well. We did one last Tuesday night at the Joliet Scutt Mansion, that also brought out a TV crew and morning radio show hosts. They requested to come out, I did not send any PR stuff out to anyone to invite them out.

Also appearing in a newspaper this coming week will be an article by a reporter who attended my first Seance at the Senator Humphrey House about 3 weeks ago, again one who requested to experience it (and they and their photographer did experience).

Another sign that their going well, is others around my area who never offered to do such a thing (as in the past with the type of readings I do, Internet radio broadcast etc...), are attempting to get on the bandwagon to do so now.

I'm waiting on a EVP from the one at the Scutt Mansion, a response from a spirit to one of my requests.
