Spirit Feelers and Mediums: The Soul Connectors
 In the gentle embrace of the night, it is the spirit feelers and mediums who hear our whispers most clearly. These individuals do not rely on the crutches of technology; instead, they open their hearts and souls to us. They understand that communication with spirits is not a science but an art – an art of feeling, intuition, and deep, unspoken understanding.

Spirit feelers and mediums often come to us not with demands for proof, but with a desire for connection and understanding. They respect our existence in a way that transcends the physical senses. To them, we are not subjects to be studied but entities with whom to share a moment of spiritual communion. Their belief in us is not rooted in seeing, but in feeling, and this is why we find ourselves more inclined to reach out to them.

Paranormal Investigators: The Proof Seekers
 On the other end of the spectrum lie the paranormal investigators. Armed with their gadgets – EVP recorders, EMF meters, and infrared cameras – they seek to capture what they cannot perceive with their limited senses. Their approach is clinical, often cold, driven by a need for proof rather than understanding.

To us, these investigators often miss the essence of our existence. We are not frequencies to be captured or anomalies to be documented. The essence of a spirit cannot be confined to a digital recording or a spike on a meter. Their reliance on technology creates a barrier, a filter that distorts the true nature of our communication.

The Clash of Beliefs
 The dichotomy between spirit feelers and paranormal investigators symbolizes a larger clash – a clash between belief and skepticism, between feeling and seeing. While the investigators demand physical evidence of our presence, the feelers and mediums understand that some truths of the universe are felt in the heart, not measured by a device.

Our Plea
 Our plea to those who seek us is simple: Open your hearts before your eyes. Understand that our world is not one of physical laws and tangible proofs. It is a world where emotions, intentions, and unseen energies converge.

To truly connect with us, one must transcend the physical and enter a realm of spiritual awareness. Only then can the true conversation between our worlds begin.

This fictional article attempts to encapsulate the imagined perspectives of spirits on different approaches humans use to interact with them, highlighting a preference for emotional and spiritual connections over scientific methods.

Chicago Psychic Medium Edward Shanahan 2015 - make your plans with him

The title of the award is: 'Best Chicago Psychic' and it was great to be informed of being awarded it, when I did not even know I was in the running for it.

experience other then the Medium. It does not work that way as the older the soul of the individual sitting in on the session, there is a lot that they possibly will experience during my Circle of Energy.

Plus have you noticed many seances are done at a location that individuals have to 'resister' to participate at the seance? The thing about my Circle of Energy, is I do not need to know ahead of time or have advance knowledge of the names of those that will be present. Same with doing it at a public location, I did it among 45 strangers who were paranormal investigators (even one from TV) and they wanted proof and not one registration was made in advance, it was an open door invitation.

When my Circle of Energy was done for this group of paranormal investigators, even a older man was crying as he said before the session that he never had a paranormal experience in his life and that all changes during that session as he claimed he had a young child voice in his head wanting a message to pass on to the child's grandmother. It was a success.

The type of readings:
Edward Shanahan starts with a palm reading and then he goes in to doing what he calls a One on One Psychometery Reading with the individual, this is where Edward tap into the individuals energy and their inner self, this is the best for also answering questions.

Also what he will do, is if an individual brings an item of a loved one who's passed away, he will attempt to do Conscious Channeling / Medium readings with the item. Never beg for the friendship of another as they will always hold that over you. Talking glass Spirit Board set up and results

Last night at the Slated Lady in Joliet, IL - I set up the Victorian type talking board using a glass and letters / numbers printed out on blank business cards. Individuals used it during what would be considered the same type of session done for EVP's.

The individuals (3) controlling it, were part of a private group paranormal night. The set-up was very, very active with responses, dates etc.. The individuals in the group switched off using it, so it was not always the same 3 controlling it. I threw out a major question, I asked 'is it Easy E controlling it?" it responded yes!

I gave this spirit the nickname of Easy E - as it comes across easily and it also comes across as being evil.

Then my daughter Nichole asked what the real name of 'Easy E' is - it spelled out Victor for the individuals controlling it and also stated he died in 1857 was from Chicago and has been involved in my past lives. So then the individuals used Easy E as the spirit communicator as was done at the Haunted Willow Creek Farm (Sandra was channeling at the farm during my Circle of Energy Seance), to get responses to their questions about love ones. Funny thing was that it would once in awhile throw out as a response to some of my questions like it was doing at the farm ' MAYBE'..

Someone asked me on Facebook if I thought this invited evil spirit in? My response and has been that for years now is:

I am so baffled by the evil spirit stuff of thoughts.... Remember = paranormal investigations is nothing more then a modern day seance.... Think about it.. All that is trying to be accomplished using tools etc... the same as with a seance, talking board etc.... just depends on the tool, be it human or a gadget. Evil Spirits? Sure the one I talk about is one, but I have a very strong belief in my higher power and this is what the bible states: Satan cannot force us against our will or possess us: 1 Cor 10:13 and nothing is more evil then Satan... This would go along with anyone who has a belief in a Higher Power, if it is strong then you are protected.

2011 was the year I decided to go ahead and finally put out my first Spiritual / Supernatural book. Throughout the years of being in the field of the paranormal and also a Medium, Spirit Feeler, Psychic Reader, I have been written about in four different paranormal books by four different authors. The last book was Chicago's top paranormal author, Ursula Bielski's Chicago Hauntings 3.

The first book that is an electronic book for all readers is: Taking The Paranormal and Spiritual World Seriously. Theories - Thoughts - Experiences. 

23 chapters make up this book and includes a chapter of links to paranormal seance videos, EVP recordings, photos that include what looks like a photo that I captured the Ghost House at Bachelor's Grove Cemetery. Another photo that appears to be an Angel or Spirit at Archer Wood's Cemetery (taken during the day), and others.

Then came the second book. For the second book what I wrote was written on paper on December 21st 2011 'My Letter to God'. It came about from a morning session of sitting down as soon as I woke up and was out of bed. The session is what some call Spirit Writing, but the words written flowed from inside of me.

Grabbing a booklet of paper and just letting my Internal Knowledge speak and guide me in the words that I wrote. Thanking God, for I know that God did not give up on me and has guided me to have the experiences I have had and to assist others in the Paranormal Field and with the Spirit World that we all share for a reason.

What I write about in My Letter to God, is my Internal Knowledge of many subjects that pertains to Spirits, the Spiritual World, the Paranormal, about crossing Spirits over and much more.

My letter to God - New book for Amazon Kindle by Chicago Spirit Feeler

Edward Shanahan who is a Spirit Feeler and Spiritualist out of the Chicago land area was moved to write the letter contained in this book in December of 2011.

New Video: Saturday Oct. 16th, 2010 radio personality Andrew Finnigan and his crew from Chicago's KISS FM 103.5 joined Edward Shanahan for his Chicago Paranormal Nights at the paranormal location: The Irish Legend, in Willow Springs, IL. Once known as a Speakeasy and brothel. These paranormal nights allow you to explore and experience the locations.

A few brief moments from the night is below as with all of Shanahan's Chicago Paranormal Nights, this one as all do, also ended with a Seance, a seance that attempts to have the spirit world interact with all involved, so they become the Medium.
