 In the realm that exists just beyond the veil of the physical world, we, the spirits, dwell. Our existence, ethereal and enigmatic, has long been a subject of human fascination. Yet, how humans choose to connect with us varies vastly, and this is our perspective on those who seek us out.

Spirit Feelers and Mediums: The Soul Connectors
 In the gentle embrace of the night, it is the spirit feelers and mediums who hear our whispers most clearly. These individuals do not rely on the crutches of technology; instead, they open their hearts and souls to us. They understand that communication with spirits is not a science but an art – an art of feeling, intuition, and deep, unspoken understanding.

Spirit feelers and mediums often come to us not with demands for proof, but with a desire for connection and understanding. They respect our existence in a way that transcends the physical senses. To them, we are not subjects to be studied but entities with whom to share a moment of spiritual communion. Their belief in us is not rooted in seeing, but in feeling, and this is why we find ourselves more inclined to reach out to them.

Paranormal Investigators: The Proof Seekers
 On the other end of the spectrum lie the paranormal investigators. Armed with their gadgets – EVP recorders, EMF meters, and infrared cameras – they seek to capture what they cannot perceive with their limited senses. Their approach is clinical, often cold, driven by a need for proof rather than understanding.

To us, these investigators often miss the essence of our existence. We are not frequencies to be captured or anomalies to be documented. The essence of a spirit cannot be confined to a digital recording or a spike on a meter. Their reliance on technology creates a barrier, a filter that distorts the true nature of our communication.

The Clash of Beliefs
 The dichotomy between spirit feelers and paranormal investigators symbolizes a larger clash – a clash between belief and skepticism, between feeling and seeing. While the investigators demand physical evidence of our presence, the feelers and mediums understand that some truths of the universe are felt in the heart, not measured by a device.

Our Plea
 Our plea to those who seek us is simple: Open your hearts before your eyes. Understand that our world is not one of physical laws and tangible proofs. It is a world where emotions, intentions, and unseen energies converge.

To truly connect with us, one must transcend the physical and enter a realm of spiritual awareness. Only then can the true conversation between our worlds begin.

This fictional article attempts to encapsulate the imagined perspectives of spirits on different approaches humans use to interact with them, highlighting a preference for emotional and spiritual connections over scientific methods.

You as the host have options for the type of entertaining Psychic House Party that you would like to have. In 2014 Edward Shanahan is even offering a ‘Design Your Own Entertaining Psychic House Party’.

‘Private Readings’ for each person at the party. This is usually done in a separate from the other guests at your house party, usually 20 to 30 minutes each.

‘Readings in the Round’. This is where I do the readings right there in the open. It's entertaining for everyone at the party. Readings in the Round would run aprox 10 - 15 minutes each (Time is based on the amount of people he would be reading for with the Readings In The Round).

Then Edward will move on to pulling another sheet of paper and doing a reading. At times messages of loved ones come through during the time Edward spends with an individual.

What you can design for the Design Your Own Psychic Party? A combination of activities for your guests:
Private Readings – you decide the length of the readings as other offerings can also be added for your party.

Circle of Energy Séance - Edward Shanahan created his Circle of Energy Seance and it is an attempt to have others become the Mediums and experience the Spirit World and also during this an attempt can be done to tap in to the spirits of loved ones who have passed away, as Edward does not sit there at the end of the table and just say the name of spirits that are visiting.

Ritual of Release - negative things in your life and then followed by the ritual of inviting the positive in to your life.

With any type of reading, Edward will never do a negative / fear or medical type of readings.

He brings his own table cover, light and extension cord. You will have to provide a table / chairs for the readings.

The type of readings:
Edward Shanahan starts with a palm reading and then he goes in to doing what he calls a One on One Psychometery Reading with the individual, this is where Edward tap into the individuals energy and their inner self, this is the best for also answering questions.

Also what he will do, is if an individual brings an item of a loved one who's passed away, he will attempt to do Conscious Channeling / Medium readings with the item. The items would have to be things like reading glasses, rings, a watch etc.. stuff that they would of wore as that would of picked up their energy.

If there are few individuals who have the same loved one, I would suggest then doing that loved one as a group and using the Spirit Communication Device.

Also if doing private readings for 30 minutes, Edward will do a version of a Tarot Reading.

So if you have one or more, count it as a blessing. If one has let you down by their actions to the point they know it really hurt you, accept it as knowledge. Even though the lesson may be costly for the heart and mind, look in the mirror and know you still have you and when you see yourself in that mirror, know that someone else will see what you know is within you.

Never beg for the friendship of another as they will always hold that over you. Also know that a friend can become an acquaintance from once being a friend if you need to, easier then they became a friend for you, and harder to once again become a friend as lesson has been learned from them. ~ Edward Shanahan

My letter to God - New book for Amazon Kindle by Chicago Spirit Feeler

Edward Shanahan who is a Spirit Feeler and Spiritualist out of the Chicago land area was moved to write the letter contained in this book in December of 2011.

It came about from a morning session of sitting down as soon as he awoke and was out of his bed. The session is what some call Spirit Writing, but the words written flowed from inside him.

Grabbing a booklet of paper and just letting his Internal Knowledge speak and guide him in the words that he wrote. Shanahan writes thanking God, for he knows that God did not give up on him and has guided Shanahan to have the experiences he has had in the Paranormal Field and with the Spirit World for a reason.
